Is feeling sorry for oneself not also a blatant statement to God that you are not satisfied with His creation and that you wish you were god?
On another note -people asking for prayer - I will gladly pray for, but that they asked means they too are ready to deepen their relationship to the Creator. Which they certainly should.

A while back I wrote the following. "Its not the length of your life, its not the quality of your life. Its whether or not you gave your life back to God, and let Him serve others through you. In this blog I will attempt to share what God is showing me. I'm not perfect nor will I ever claim to be, but I believe God will continuously help us to continue growing. I'm not worth following but our Creator is, develop/grow your relationship to Him daily.
